NJ Transit officials said one of the agency’s trains was involved in an Amtrak wire issue that caused rail service to be suspended Monday morning and resulted in delays and canceled trains into the evening commuter rush.

NJ Transit and Amtrak services resume after a disruption caused by downed wires near Newark, affecting numerous commutes.
