Leaders from Egypt, Jordan and other Arab states met in Saudi Arabia to discuss alternative plans for Gaza's future than the one laid out by President Trump, which calls for displacing Palestinians.

Leaders of Gulf states met with their Egyptian and Jordanian counterparts to strategize before a broader Arab summit early next month.

Arab leaders discussed on Friday the joint efforts supporting "the Palestinian cause" and Gaza developments, during an informal meeting in Riyadh attended by Gulf states, Egypt and Jordan, the Saudi state news agency SPA said.
