Aston Villa left St. James' Park with a 2-0 win over hosts Newcastle United on Sunday, and Ollie Watkins is crediting the work the Villans did before kick-off for the victory. Watkins scored the game's second goal in the 88th minute to seal the result for the visitors, with teammate Emi Buendia breaking the deadlock early in the first half.
The Athletic reported in January Abraham was an option being considered by Villa in the event of Donyell Malen wanting to leave the club. Malen has since completed a loan move to Roma, with the deal including an obligation to buy, as he wanted more minutes as a No 9. The overall package for Malen is worth €25million (£21.65m), plus a €2m loan fee.
