A Fort Worth man, 26-year-old Caspian Swinney, is charged with murder after shooting and killing his next-door neighbor during a fight.

The suspect told police that he shot his neighbor after being punched in the face, according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by the Star-Telegram.

Oscar Alberto "Beto" Lopez was fatally shot after an alleged dispute over loud music outside his Fort Worth home.

A 26-year-old man was killed in a shooting Sunday night in south Fort Worth, and a suspect was taken into custody, police said. The homicide victim was found in the driveway with gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police and the medical examiner.
