The Supreme Court extended GRAP 4 measures in Delhi until Monday. The Court directed the CAQM to consider scaling down to GRAP 3 or 2. Schools will continue to operate on hybrid mode which is an exception to GRAP 4 measures,

The court strongly criticised the Delhi government, police, and other authorities for failing to prevent the entry of lorries into the city, a key GRAP-IV directive. It urged the CAQM to expedite actions against those found guilty of non-compliance.

The Supreme Court has once again taken stringent steps concerning the rising air pollution in Delhi-NCR. In a decision announced on Thursday (November 28), the court said that for the time being, GRAP IV measures (except for schools) will continue to remain in Delhi and the NCR region till Monday (2nd December).

Supreme Court says that GRAP stage IV measures except for schools will continue to operate till Monday (2nd December) and in the meantime CAQM (Commission for Air Quality Management) is asked to hold a meeting and come out with the suggestion about moving from GRAP IV to GRAP III or GRAP II.

The CAQM noted that Delhi's primary schools lack resources for online classes, particularly affecting Classes 10 and 12. It directed state governments to implement hybrid learning for all up to grade 12.

According to the weather department, Delhi woke up to patches of shallow fog today, with temperatures hovering at 12.8 degrees Celsius.
