Toward the end of Denver’s second full day of training camp Saturday morning, third-year linebacker Drew Sanders was seen carted off the field with an apparent injury. Two staffers helped him into the locker room, as Sanders slung both arms over their shoulders, clearly unable to put much weight on his leg.
On the first day of fans attending training camp, the Denver Broncos had a slight surprise with their top running back. While it's still very early, J.K. Dobbins, not RJ Harvey, was the Broncos' No. 1 running back.
Another leader on the defense is Jonathon Cooper. The Broncos leading the NFL in sacks last year but also Jonathon says that there is always room for improvement, but off the field as a leader as well.
Broncos training camp opened up to fans for the first time this summer and receivers Pat Bryant, Troy Franklin, Devaughn Vele and Marvin Mims, Jr. all looked good.
