A decision on the next Maharashtra Chief Minister will be taken during a meeting of the BJP legislative party tomorrow, Shiv Sena chief and caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde said today

Eknath Shinde addressed speculation about his son, Shrikant Shinde, being considered for Deputy Chief Minister, saying discussions with senior leaders, including Amit Shah, were ongoing and no final decision had been made.

Maharashtra's caretaker Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, who was in his native village for two days after taking ill, has broken his silence on the new CM stalemate. Speaking to the media, he said that all three allies of the Mahayuti have a good understanding and that the CM candidate will be decided on Monday.

Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Shirsat announced that Maharashtra's caretaker Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, will make a significant decision by Sunday. Shirsat mentioned that the allotment of ministries to allies would be clarified by Monday evening,

Maharashtra's caretaker Chief Minister, Eknath Shinde, is recovering from a high fever and throat infection after being treated at his native village in Dare. Shinde is expected to return to Mumbai by Sunday evening.

The new Mahayuti government is set to be sworn in on December 5 at Azad Maidan in Mumbai, Maharashtra BJP unit said.
