Aside from Purnell, Goggins, and McLachlan, season two will see Aaron Moten’s return as Maximus—the wayward Brotherhood of Steel soldier who was tragically separated from Lucy after their close bond in season one—alongside Moisés Arias as Norm, Lucy’s brother who managed to uncover the secret of the Vaults himself at the climax of last season.
The Fallout season 2 teaser trailer debuted on Tuesday, Aug. 19, at Gamescom 2025 and gave fans a look at what's next for Lucy MacLean ( Ella Purnell ), Maximus (Aaron Moten) and The Goul/Cooper Howard ( Walton Goggins) in the post-apocalyptic Wasteland.
The second season releases its premiere on December 17th with weekly episodes to follow up until February 4th. “The new season will pick up in the aftermath of Season One’s epic finale and take audiences along for a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas,” the show’s description reads.
Mr. House isn't the only major element from Fallout: New Vegas on display in the teaser for Season 2. Also present are members of Caesar's Legion, suited up for war. Plus, the trailer confirms that Season 2 will feature a major enemy from across the Fallout games: a Deathclaw. Color me scared, but also more than ready to return to the wasteland.

So, in the first teaser trailer for Fallout Season 2, we’re introduced to Mr. House, and we see him interact with Cooper Howard, the human version of Goggins’ character. It appears that this story from the past will overlap with The Ghoul and Lucy’s trip to New Vegas, and create parallel stories like we saw in Season 1.
