Although former Rep. Matt Gaetz has withdrawn his name from consideration for AG, some Democrats are still concerned new Trump Cabinet pick Pam Bondi will pursue President-elect Trump’s agenda with the DOJ.

Pam Bondi, the former Florida attorney general, was chosen Thursday by Donald Trump to serve as U.S. attorney general hours after his first choice, Matt Gaetz, withdrew from consideration after a federal sex trafficking investigation and ethics probe made his ability to be confirmed dubious.

Florida’s Surgeon General on Friday recommended against putting fluoride in the water, guidance that comes amid speculation he is being eyed for a position in President Donald Trump’s administration. Trump has already appointed his top health official, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has been an outspoken opponent of adding fluoride to drinking water.
