Two years after the country’s deadliest rail disaster, many are still demanding greater safety and accountability.

Greek mass protests and a general strike Friday marking the second anniversary of a deadly train disaster morphed into violent Athens clashes between police and hundreds hooded, black-clad young protesters.

Striking workers grounded flights and halted sea and train transport across Greece on Friday and people gathered for protests in anger over a perceived lack of justice two years after the country's worst-ever train crash killed 57 people.
