But, not in the next movie," Gunn told Deadline on the red carpet at Superman 's London premiere when asked if the three would cross paths in the new shared universe.

Whenever—past or future—Superman meets Batman, Gunn has a pretty good idea what the Man of Steel will think of the Caped Crusader. “I think that he’d probably see a kindred spirit in that,” said Gunn, “Another crazy person wearing a crazy costume. With a very different intent.”
