Michigan State football's season ended in disappointing fashion on Saturday with a lopsided loss to Rutgers at home in a snowy Spartan Stadium. The Spartans will now end their season with a losing record and without an invite to a bowl game.

Quarterback Aidan Chiles, a Southern California native, didn’t look comfortable playing in the snow and was off target on multiple throws while finishing 13-for-23 for 150 yards and a touchdown. The sophomore closed the season with a third straight turnover-free performance but still finished with 15 total on 11 interceptions and four lost fumbles.
