Wegmans is recalling its brand of medium camembert cheese and products that contain it due to potential listeria contamination, which can lead to serious illness.

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Middlefield Original Cheese Co-Op in Middlefield is recalling 246.5 pounds of cheese because of potential contamination with Listeria monocytogenes, according to the Food and Drug Administration.

Wegmans Food Markets, Inc. has issued a recall for its Medium Camembert Soft Ripened Cheese and products containing it due to potential Listeria monocytogenes contamination.
