The Oscar-nominee and Emmy-winner is the top choice to play Mark Zuckerberg in Aaron Sorkin’s “ The Social Network Part II .” Strong would be taking over the role of the Facebook founder from Jesse Eisenberg, who earned an Academy Award nomination for his performance in 2010’s “The Social Network,” which Sorkin wrote and David Fincher directed.

Aaron Sorkin is writing and directing a follow-up to The Social Network, and Jeremy Strong is reportedly the lead candidate to play Mark Zuckerberg. “Sources say no formal offer has been presented but that he is the top choice to play the Facebook founder,” according to Deadline. Jesse Eisenberg played the role in the first film.
