For the second time this month, the Miami Dolphins have lost a member of its family. The team announced on social media Monday that Eddie Hill, a running back for the team from 1981-84, has passed away at the age of 67.

Eddie Hill was in declining health when the Sun Sentinel spoke to him in May 2017 at the Don Strock Diabetes Golf Classic at Miccosukee Golf & Country Club.

But for Patrick Paul, that decision doesn’t change anything. “I’m working toward being a starter, and that’s all I’m focused on, is being the best version of myself this year,” Paul told the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on Saturday.

Patrick Paul is eager to start in his second NFL season, but he could be at the mercy of Terron Armstead’s decision on whether to retire or return to the Dolphins.
