Trackhouse Racing co-owner Justin Marks has opened up on the team's decisions to send Connor Zilisch to the Xfinity Series and to quickly promote him to the Cup

Trackhouse Racing has officially signed a multiyear deal with Connor Zilisch to race in the NASCAR Cup Series, replacing Daniel Suarez after the Mexican-born driver spent five years with the organization. Suarez’s exit was previously announced on July 1st, and he has not yet secured a ride for next year.

Connor Zilisch, a 19-year-old driver with seven victories in NASCAR's Xfinity Series this season, is moving up to the Cup Series in 2026.
