Former Michigan State forward Xavier Booker has found his new home. Just three days after it was confirmed Booker had entered the transfer portal, the two-year Spartan has committed to UCLA, per On3's Joe Tipton.

Michigan State is losing a trio of seniors out of eligibility in guard Jaden Akins, forward Frankie Fidler and center Szymon Zapala. The Spartans signed a pair of four-star wings to their 2025 recruiting class in Jordan Scott and Cam Ward.

Xavier Booker, who stands 6-foot-11 and weighs 220 pounds, entered the transfer portal after the Spartans' loss in the Elite 8 round of the men's NCAA Tournament to Auburn University. He has now made a decision as far as which school he will play for during the upcoming 2025-26 season.

UCLA picked up a massive transfer portal win on Friday night. The Bruins will add a former five-star recruit to their roster. Xavier Booker, from Michigan State, announced his commitment to UCLA on Instagram. Booker was the No. 11 player nationally in the class of 2023.

Booker arrived in East Lansing two years ago as the No. 14 overall prospect, and second-best center, in the 247Sports composite rankings. The Indianapolis product and McDonald’s All-American, who also held offers from Duke and Kansas, was one of the best prospects ever to commit to Tom Izzo’s program.
