On Wednesday, Navy and Under Armour unveiled uniforms that will honor the Jolly Rogers aviation squadron during the 125th annual Army-Navy Game on Dec. 14 at Northwest Stadium in Landover.

The commanding officer of VF-84 Vagabonds, a former Jolly Roger of VF-61, formally requested that his squadron assume the name and insignia of the Jolly Rogers.

The Jolly Rogers aviation unit, officially and currently called Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 103, first flew in 1943 and has piloted nine separate fighter aircraft over the last 63 years.
