An Oregon appeals court has found that a voter-approved gun control law is constitutional, reversing a lower court ruling.

An appeals court ruled Wednesday that Measure 114, Oregon’s gun control measure, is constitutional and lifted a hold on it, the Oregon Attorney General’s Office reported in a news release. The law will not go into effect immediately,

We concluded that all of Measure 114 is facially constitutional,” under the state constitution, Presiding Judge Darleen Ortega wrote in the 25-page opinion.
