The hunt for the shooter that left two students dead and nine injured at one of the nation’s top universities stretches into a fifth day.

In several zoomed-in videos police say were captured on the East Side of Providence approximately two hours before the shooting, the person of interest is seen walking on a sidewalk and looking around.

Kieran Ramsey, former assistant director of the FBI who became commander of the Boston bombing task force, praised law enforcement Wednesday for their unified response to the incident in Providence. "You can clearly see team law enforcement absolutely unified," said Ramsey.

Investigators are asking for the public's help to identify the individual, "who was in proximity of the person of interest," according to a press release sent out at 12:41 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec 17.
