Nicholas Robertson scored twice in the second period as the Toronto Maple Leafs beat the Chicago Blackhawks 5-2 on Sunday. Jake McCabe and Chris Tanev each had a goal and an assist as Toronto won for the second night in its return from the 4 Nations Face-Off break.

Teravainen gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead at 19:49 of the first period on the power play. He picked up the rebound of a shot from the slot by Ryan Donato after it went off Tyler Bertuzzi in front and put the puck into the upper part of the net with a wrist shot. It was his 500th NHL point.

The Toronto Maple Leafs could be looking to make some changes at the 2025 Trade Deadline in hopes of making a deep playoff run this season, but haven’t been very active on the trade front.
