SpaceX's Starship megarocket came to a dramatic close, with the spacecraft managing to complete a controlled splashdown in the Indian Ocean.

The hourlong flight from Starbase saw Starship deploy satellites, complete maneuvers and splash down on its target in the Indian Ocean, where the ship exploded as it slipped beneath the waves.
