This year's second total lunar eclipse will occur on Sept. 7, 2025 between 11:28 am and 4:55 p.m. Eastern but will not be visible from the United States this time around, according to Space.com.

A total lunar eclipse, also known as Chandra Grahan or the "Blood Moon," is set to take over the skies.

Astronomers say this eclipse is extra special because the moon will be deep in Earth’s shadow, so the red will be darker and richer than normal, Space.com reported.
