A winning ticket in Wednesday night's Powerball drawing would have the option of accepting an estimated lump sum cash payment of $781.3 million, or one immediate payment followed by 29 annual payments.

The Powerball jackpot climbed to an estimated $1.7 billion, the fourth-largest in the game’s history, after no ticket matched all six winning numbers in Monday night’s drawing.

The Powerball winning numbers are in for the Wednesday, Dec. 24 drawing with a jackpot that reached an estimated $1.7 billion ($781.3 million cash value). The largest winning Powerball jackpot ticket sold in Michigan was worth $842.4 million and sold in January 2024 at Food Castle in Grand Blanc.
