Despite It's routine to be let down over Titanfall news, but the latest cancelled project by Respawn is just as confusing as it is disappointing.

IGN reports that about 100 employees at Respawn were laid off, including developers, QA workers, and publishing staffers. IGN also says that some workers were moved from Respawn over to EA Motive’s Iron Man game, the Battlefield series, “and other projects.”

In the latest blow to the video game labor community, Electronic Arts has confirmed layoffs at Apex Legends developer Respawn and the cancellation of two "incubation" projects at the studio. About 100 people at Respawn have been affected by the changes, a report said.
