Prime Minister Anthony Albanese became the first Australian leader to win a second consecutive three-year term in 21 years.

Australians are voting in a national election this weekend, and President Trump appears to be playing an outsized role as nations continue to respond to the vision of U.S. foreign policy he's put in place in the first 100 days of his second term.

The last time Australians went to the polls, China was top of mind. This time, the United States is the dominant foreign factor in an election mostly fought on domestic issues.
