Brad Lander, New York City Comptroller and mayoral candidate, joins Joy Reid to discuss the controversial resignations of four NYC deputy mayors, and to call for Mayor Eric Adams to prove his competence amid accusations that he is more loyal to President Trump than to the people of New York City.

In this case that would mean the inability committee would include Corporation Counsel Muriel Goode-Trufant, Lander, Speaker Adams and Queens Borough President Donovan Richards. The deputy mayor who would serve is unclear, especially with four of them on their way out of the Adams administration.
