It was the moment that shocked and united the world. When legendary alternative rock group Coldplay performed in front of a large crowd at Gillette Stadium in Massachusetts on July 15, even they were unaware that they were about to be at the center of one of the year's most viral moments.

Martin joked that he needed to “do some basic security checks” when a fan tried to propose at his show in London.
