A two-day limited engagement run of the hit Sony animated film is expected to top the third weekend of "Weapons"

The sing-along version of the animated film "KPop Demon Hunters", which has become a cultural phenomenon, topped the domestic box office this weekend, in what appears to be a historic first for streaming giant Netflix.

The movie debuted on the platform in late June and is currently Netflix’s most-watched animated original film.
