Elon Musk's SpaceX will launch NASA's groundbreaking Dragonfly mission to Saturn's largest moon, Titan, using a Falcon Heavy rocket.

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) has chosen billionaire Elon Musk-owned SpaceX to provide launch services for the “Dragonfly mission”, a one-off rotorcraft lander mission under the New Frontiers Program,

The mission, managed by NASA’s Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, is expected to reach Titan in 2034. Over its initial three-year mission, Dragonfly will conduct multiple flights to various geological sites, providing unprecedented insights into the moon’s chemical processes and potential for exotic life forms.

NASA announced that it has selected SpaceX to provide launch services for its ambitious Dragonfly mission that will place a rotorcraft lander at Saturn's moon of Titan as part of its New Frontiers Program.
