European leaders in a "coalition of the willing" are meeting to project unity in response to Putin’s demands at his summit with Trump ahead of Zelenskyy’s Washington visit.

European leaders, including Emmanuel Macron and Keir Starmer, met US President Donald Trump with Volodymyr Zelensky to discuss Ukraine. The meeting followed Trump's talks with Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

The British government said on Tuesday European leaders were weighing additional sanctions to ramp up pressure on Russian President Vladimir Putin as part of a broader push to put an end to the war in Ukraine.
