A severe thunderstorm warning was released by the NWS Fort Worth TX on Tuesday at 5:29 p.m. in effect until 6 p.m. The warning is for Dallas, Kaufman and Rockwall counties.

"The storms which prompted the warning have weakened below severe limits, and have exited the warned area. Therefore, the warning will be allowed to expire. A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight for central, northwestern and west central Alabama," says the National Weather Service.

DALLAS - A Severe Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for parts of North Texas on Tuesday evening. The warnings were issued until 6 p.m. in Dallas County and Johnson County. There is a chance for more storms later in the evening.
