Liverpool victory parade driver Paul Doyle was previously jailed for biting a man’s ear off in a drunken fight with sailors, a court heard. The 54-year-old was sentenced to 12 months in prison at Preston Crown Court in November 1994 shortly after his discharge from the Royal Marines.
