Lionel Messi still isn’t ready to give a straight answer on whether he’ll play at the 2026 World Cup — but he’s made one thing clear: if he’s not on the pitch, he’ll definitely be in the stands.

"For me, Guardiola is unique," Messi said. "There are extraordinarily good coaches, but he has something different. For me, he's the best of all of them."

This Friday at 6pm, the draw for the 2026 World Cup will take place.
