Gov. Tim Walz has set a date for special elections to fill vacancies in two House districts, each of which covers part of the Twin Cities.

State Sen. Jeff Howe, R-Rockville, announced Saturday, Nov. 22, that he will not seek reelection. Howe represented central Minnesota in the Minnesota House of Representatives from 2013 through 2018, then he shifted to the Minnesota Senate.
