While the NFL combine is all about looking at future prospects, San Francisco 49ers general manager John Lynch spent much of his combine media availability discussing some of the biggest names already on his roster.

As the 49ers angle for a fresh start, wide receiver Deebo Samuel asked for one of his own. Lynch confirmed Wednesday action has been hot and heavy with multiple teams interested in acquiring Samuel, a player All-Pro tight end George Kittle has said cannot be replaced.

Purdy is up for an extension this offseason as he enters the final year of his rookie deal, and it sounds like the 49ers are poised to give him a big raise. It's possible his annual income could even eclipse $55 million, a previous report noted.
