Facing Rockies fireball-closer Victor Vodnik in the ninth inning and trailing, 3-2, Cincinnati's Will Benson tripled off the top of the wall in left-center field. He nearly walked the Rockies off, but at least he drove in Spencer Steer, who had led off the inning with a single, to tie the contest at Great American Ball Park.

In a span of 10 pitches Saturday, the Cincinnati Reds ensured they wouldn't be swept for the first time this season by the most surprising opponent possible -- and inched manager Terry Francona to the edge of yet another milestone.
