Keider Montero pitched eight strong innings, Colt Keith homered, and the Detroit Tigers beat the Colorado Rockies 11-1 in the second game to sweep their doubleheader.

A six-run third inning put the Tigers (25-13) in control and a two-run Colt Keith home run blast in the seventh inning sealed the deal. It was also a day to remember for center fielder Brewer Hicklen, making his MLB debut for Detroit in Game 2 of the doubleheader.
