A 16-year-old high school lacrosse player died last week after being struck by an opposing player's shot during a game last week in Ohio.

Bay High School sophomore Dylan Veselic died following injuries he sustained at a lacrosse match earlier this week.

Bay Village High School sophomore Dylan Veselic, 16, was playing against Olmsted Falls on Tuesday night when a ball struck him at the base of the back of his head when he attempted to block a shot, according to WKYC, citing witnesses.
