“Hot Milk” is based on Deborah Levy’s 2016 novel. Rebecca Lenkiewicz (“She Said,” “Disobedience”) writes and directs the film, which premiered at Berlin.
That was very, very quick. On Hot Milk, I was involved when it was still a script, and I spent a lot of time with Rebecca (Lenkiewicz), the writer and director, talking about ideas.
But with “ Hot Milk,” which bowed at the Palaste on Friday, she moved closer to the camera and made it her directorial debut.
