The former head of the New York Police Department has filed a federal lawsuit against scandal-scarred New York City Mayor Eric Adams and other high ranking NYPD officials, alleging the group used their power and authority to run a what he called a “criminal enterprise.
The lawsuit, filed by Los Angeles County, accused Peacock of making it difficult for users to unsubscribe from the service, according to a report from The Hollywood Reporter. The county argued that Peacock violated California’s newly amended click-to-cancel-style subscription law.
