ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. — Threats made on social media threatening mass violence toward Western Rockingham Middle School and a particular teacher were deemed "not credible" on Monday after a review by Rockingham County Schools and local law enforcement, according to a press release.

Classes are canceled Tuesday for schools in the Noblesville district following a threat of violence on social media.

"While we do not have any reason to believe that the threat is credible at this time," the district superintendent said in a statement to parents.
