Alina Habba resigned as New Jersey’s top federal prosecutor days after a court ruled she was serving unlawfully.

The state will be cutting a check for more than $83,000 to former U.S. Attorney Zachary Cunha and his associates for their involvement in last month's high-stakes oversight hearing on the failure of the westbound Washington Bridge.
