The USMNT and Mexico will play two European powerhouses in the last international break before the 2026 World Cup.

The 2026 World Cup draw will take place on Friday at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts in Washington, D.C., at 12 p.m. ET, and there are many expectations and tons of excitement as to what will happen on the stage.

FIFA modified the draw for 2026 to create separate pathways to the semifinals for the four-highest ranked teams: Spain, Argentina, France and England. That means if Spain and Argentina win their groups, the world's Nos. 1 and 2 teams can not meet prior to the final.
