Chelsea beat Aston Villa 3-0 on Sunday at Stamford Bridge as they underlined their potential as a legit top four contender. Enzo Maresca’s Chelsea were dominant from start to finish with Nicolas Jackson and Enzo Fernandez putting them 2-0 up at half time and Cole Palmer’s late stunner wrapped up the win.

Aston Villa has bled goals for fun this season, so Chelsea had a wise idea to attack them aggressively both on and off the ball - our PPDA was 7.9, which is nearly 3 passes more aggressive than our season average.
