NASCAR's next big thing is a teenager with racing chops to hang with the best. It's only a matter of time before Connor Zilisch takes over the sport.

Connor Zilisch will drive a NASCAR Chevy in the Cup Series in 2026, joining Trackhouse Racing in the highest echelon of North American stock car racing.

Though the record book will credit Zilisch as the winner of the Wawa 250 Powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona, it was the part-timer Kligerman who did the heavy lifting, steering the car home in relief of the 19-year-old.
