📍Arthur | ON - So much history, so much honor, so much pride. The Village of Arthur which was established in the mid-1800's, received formal confirmation of its patriotism in 2002, when the Ontario Legislature stated that because of Arthur's extraordinary effort in World War II the community would be recognized as "Canada's Most Patriotic Village". At that time, 100 residents had enlisted from the population of 890. It was the highest ratio in comparison to villages of comparable sizes in Canad
