Minor eruption at Taal Volcano sends gray plumes 2,800 meters high WATCH: A minor phreatomagmatic eruption occurred at the main crater of Taal Volcano from 6:51 am to 6:54 am on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) says. The event produced grayish plumes that rose about 2,800 meters above the crater before drifting northeast, according to Phivolcs.
