Scroggins Aviation places one of its rare Convair 880 jet liners, serial number 23 (Ship 23), a forward fuselage section on loan to a museum. After sitting in the Mojave Desert for 38 years, the Tillamook Air Museum in Oregon shipped the 880 on August 29th from Mojave Air & Space Port, CA. It will take two days for it to make its journey north to its new home. The museum plans to restore the section to its former Trans-World Airlines “ TWA” livery.
