Favourite Worst Nightmare has been sitting in my chest for years now. I don’t even think of it as just an album anymore, it feels more like a memory I keep returning to whenever life gets too loud or too confusing, or when I feel very nostalgic about my youth. The struggle of “Do Me A Favour”, the energy of “Balaclava” and “Brianstorm” the feeling of hearing “505” late at night, the chaos and confidence all over this record… it’s hard to explain what it does to me without sounding dramatic.
